Berlin, March 5. The Public Prosecutor has appealed against the acquittal of Count Mielzynski on a charge of murdering his wife and nephew .at the Castle of Dokowymokre, near Graetz, in. German Poland, on December 19.'

A year ago, on the death of tier brother, the countess succeeded to the estate of Dokowymokre and became mistress of a large fortune. The family brought about a reconciliation, and" the count went to live with his wife at Dokowymokre. But the renewed union was soon clouded. The count began his political career as a fierce opponent of Prussian rule in Poland. His obstinacy, .earned for him the nickname -of '.'the Red Count " -
