New York, March 5. A band of Industrial Workers of the World yesterday invaded the Roman Catholic Church of St. Alphonsius and interrupted the service.

The police endeavoured to eject them, hnd great disorder followed, the police taking the worshippers in several instances for disturbances.

Many free fights occurred, and finally a scorc of the Socialists were arrested, and the service then proceeded.
