Wager, Waihi.—At the V.R.C. Meeting on New Year's Day, 1913, Wallalo (ridden by J. N. McGregor) won the Hurdle Race (2 miles), under lOst 81b. , * Dispute, Remucra.The official records all agree on the point at issue. Gold Crest, W&iari. Kakama and Jack Delaval each won the A.R.C. Easter Handicap in lm 40s. Wager.—Milan's time, 3m 1 l-ss, for the Wanganui Cup of 1910, is only a New Zealand record for the distance. Dumont holds the Australasian record (3m 05s). The latter put tip the record in the Waverley Handicap run at Randwick in the spring of 1904.
C.R.M., Te Aroha.—Kiatere was foaled in 1896. so that he was rising llyrs old when he won the Great Northern Steeplechase. The 12st 131b under which Kiatere ran represented the weight allotted to him by the handicapper. He did not carry a penalty.
Wagrr, Te Kuiti.— distance of the Marlborough Cup was at one time two miles, but it is over 20 years since the race was run over that distance. The 1 race in question has been run over one mile atd a-quarter since 1902. At three years old Sinapsis won under 7st 81b
