FRENCH BOY'S CRIME.

MURDER OF SEVEN PEOPLE.

KILLED WITH AN AXE.

COMPLETE CONFESSION.

By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Received March 5, 8.5 p.m.) Paris, March 5. A terrible tragedy occurred at a village near Nantes last October. A 15-year-old boy named Marcel Redareau, while working in a winepress, quarrelled with his employer. In a rage* the boy seized an axe, and with it slashed his employer across the head, killing him instantly. He then rushed into the kitchen and cut down his employer's wife and maid, bof- dying some time later. The infuriated youth followed up these murders by rushing into a room where an old woman lay, and killed her. Last of all, he killed three of his employer's children, the only member of the household that was left alive being a boy of four, who escaped Redureau's notice.

Rfdureau, who made a full confession, was sentenced yesterday to 20 years' imprisonment.
