A STOREKEEPER'S BANKRUPTCY.
Sir—Ro Mr. Charles B. Wheeler's bankruptcy. Among the debtor's suggested causes for insolvency he suggests "suspicions involving the honesty of hi& employees." On behalf of one of our members, Mr. J. H. Espie, who was with Mr. Wheeler for some 3£ years, I should be grateful _ for the opportunity of saying that he invites the fullest possible enquiry inio the whole of his conduct and. transactions "with Mr. Wheeler. The suggested inference may do him considerable harm and he wishes to take the first opportunity of refuting the imputation so far as he personally is concerned. R. G. Graham.
