SHRIMPS FOR TAUPO.
FEEDING THE TROUT.
[BY TELEGRAPHOWN CORRESPONDENT-] Rotob.ua, Wednesday. The attention of officials of the Department of Internal Affairs is now being directed to Lake Taupo, with a view to supplying a sufficient quantity of food for the trout there. Yesterday, a consignment of six cans of shrimps from Mercer arrived in charge of Mr. J. Duff, and was forwarded to Taupo by special coach, which arrived at its destination at half-past six this morning. The shrimps were afterwards liberated in Lake Taupo by Captain Ryan.
