YESTERDAY'S BUSINESS. There was not a great deal of business done on the shareinarket yesterday. In standard stocks, New Zealand Insurances j were available at £5 15s 6d, and there were buyers at £5 14s 6d. South British were on offer at 88s. Auckland Gas gold at (27s 9d). Northern Steams (paid up); brought 14s sd. In mining lines, Waihis dropped to 49s 6d, 495, and 48s 3d, sellers closing at a ßs 9d.
