' BIRKENHEAD REGATTA. . The Northoote and Birkenhead Regatta,: which* will be held off Northcote Point on Saturday-afternoon, promises to be a ,very successful function. A lengthy and attrac-' tive programme of events has been arranged. Mr. R. K. Smith has donated two cups for first and second-class yachts. The e.s. Sparrowhawk will act as flagship, and-launches will leave the Northcote Wharf at frequent intervals.
