DOMAIN BOARDS.
At a meeting of the Mount Wellington Domain Board, Mr. A. S. Thompson was reelected chairman for the twenty-third time. It was resolved to level a piece of the ground for cricket, and another portion for croquet. A first-class bowling green \v:Il be formed when the board is in receipt .if the Government grant to defray ' the c<K,t, of laying out and beautifying the ;-v domain, arid everything will be done to ' make the grounds an attractive place of recreation (or Panrauro and the neighbourV hood | The. Mount Richmond Domain Board met I yesterday afternoon in the borough offices, ' Otahuhu. Present: Messrs. J. Atkinson M (chairman), O. H. Kay, A. S. Thompson, l| J. Wood, and F. C Lippiatt. The clerk || (Mr. E. VVei.t) preseuted the annual report |.S, and balance-sheet. The report stated that f,|. many tr»es and hhrubs had been planted ||. in the domain during the year, and seats if hail been provided for the public. A new lb, road entrance is about to be made to the f|*> domain in the Panrnuro Road, Messrs. 11l Kempthorne, Prosser and Co. having dedife-; cated to the board a piece of land for the *[,*.; formation of a road.
