ANGLO-GERMAN AGREEMENT

Lisbon, March 3. The Premier in the Chamber yesterday, in reply to a question concerning an Anglo-German agreement with reference to the sphere of influence in the Portuguese colonies, said that Portugal was ready to open her colonies to all good enterprise, but Portugal alone had the power to fix the spheres of foreign enterprise.
