SAD DEATH OF A. OAVILL.
EVIDENCE BY A DOCTOR. By Telegraph— Association— (Received Msrch 3, 11.20 p.m.) New York, March 2. Yesterday, Arthur Cavill, a brother of the swimmer, Richard Cavill, wellknown in Australasian swimming circles, lost his life while attempting to swim Seattle Harbour, which is three miles across. The water was cold, and a strong wind was blowing. After swimming for an hour and ten minutes Cavill became unconscious, and was lifted out of the water. The doctor, who was called in, declares that Cavill had been literally frozen to death, and his circulation so retarded that the heart had stopped beating.
