Sir,—ln your issue of February 26 it is made to appear that numerous thefts have recently occurred at the Shelly Beach baths, and there is another announcement about a scare which an opossum created" among the female bathers a; these baths.. On behalf of Mr. Faiquiiar, the custodian of the baths, 1 assure you that at the Shellv Beach baths no such thefts have recently taken place.
