THE REEKS MYSTERY.
NO FRESH DEVELOPMENTS.
SEARCH FOR RAMSDEN. By Telegraph—Press Association— London, January 29. No fresh developments have taken place in connection with the efforts of the police to trace the murderer of the young Australian engineer named Reeks, found shot dead over a week ago, near Wolverhampton. There arc two families of the name of Ramsden at Wolverhampton and four at Leeds, and all deny any knowledge of the man named Ramsden who is supposed to have been with Reeks shortly before the murderThe police arc still inquiring Tor Ramsden, and endeavouring to trace him by means of his signature in a Liverpool hotel visitors' book. There are no grounds for thinking that Ramsden was a passenger with Reeks, but he was amongst the crowd who saw Reeks show his dollar bills.
The police are unable to make anything of the slips of paper with the name of Parsons on them found in the dead man's bedroom and apparently in his handwriting.
