DARGAVILLE POLLS.
MORE GAS WANTED. [Br TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Dargaville, Thursday. The polls taken by the Dargaville Borough Council on the question of borrowing £3000 for extending and completing the gas mains and £5000 for the purchase of Mangawhare Park and general park improvements, resulted in the former, proposition being carried by 72 votes to 24 and the latter being defeated by 80 votes to 14.
