Pressure is very low •in the South, and the skies have become gloomy in many parts. Summer showers have fallen in a few places, but the -weather has been fine generally and high temperatures have been recorded. TO-DAY'S FORECAST Present indications are for high northerly ■winds generally, and changing shortly by ■west to south. Cloudy .and unsettled weather, with general ram. is probable soon. Tho barometer is likely to fall further in tho North, but will rise everywhere in about 24 hours, though it may continue unsteady in the Southern districts.
