A Special Meeting to confirm the following 1- Special Order (passed by the Raglan County Council at its meeting, held in Ngaruawahia on the 14th day of January 1914), will be held at the County Office, Ngaruawahia, on the 11th day of February, 1914. Moved by Cr. McKinnon, and seconded by Cr. Watson: — " In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act; 1908, and its Amendments, and the Municipal . Corporations Act. 1908, and its Amendments, and in particular by Section 15 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908. and by Section 119 of the Public Works Act, 1908, and by virtue of a warrant dated the 22nd day of December. 1913. issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor under the provisions of the said Section 119 of the Public Works Act. 1908, and of every other power (if any), it thereunto enabling, the Raglan County Council hereby resolves by way of special order »3 follows: — "1. That the Council proceed to raise a Loan of Four Thousand Five Hundred Pounds (£4600), for the purpose of pay- • ing the Council's share of the cost of the erection of the Rangiriri Bridge. . "2. That the said Loan be called ' The Rangiriri Bridge Special Rating District Loan of £1500, 1914.' "3. That the currency of the said Loan shall be for a period of thirty-sv." and a-half- years, commencing on the first day of January, 1914 and maturing on , the first day of July, 1950. "4. That the interest on the said Loan shall be at the rate of Five Pounds (£5) per centum per annum, and be payable half-yearly on the first days of January and July. " 5. That the form of security for the payment of principal and interest on the said Loan shall be five debentures of Nine Hundred Pounds (£900) each, and relative coupons in a form in conformity with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act. 1908, and its Amendments. "6. That the Council doth hereby appropriate and pledge as security for the payment of the said Loan and interest, sinking fund, and other charges thereon, the annually recurring special rate of ' three-eighths of a ' penny in the pound on the ratable value (on basis of , the unimproved value) of i'l ratable i property in the Rangiriri Bridge Special Rating District. • "7.
