London, January 19. The Board of Trade statistics, supplemented by the trades unions' returns, show that the loss in wages by stoppages in 10 organised industries, due to disputes of all kinds, in the past decade amounts to £17,413,188.

The not gain in wages resulting from the disputes was £2,714. leaving a logs of £14,698,848; but the workers as a whole obtained daring the decade an increase of £15,000,000, chiefly through the conciliation machinery and working agreements.
