PIPIRIKI TO OHAKUNE.

Sir, —Will you allow me space in your valuable columns to refute reports which have gained ground in regard to the coach journey from Pipiriki to Ohakune. On inquiry at the Tourist Office I was informed that ladies who had accomplished that trip made bitter complaints of the general discomfort. I coached through on December 19 last, and thoroughly enjoyed the journey. For the greater part of the route the road, which is good, winds through magnificent bush, while a capable and courteous jehu drives a sturdy fourhorse team. In conclusion I may add that I hold no brief on behalf of the coach proprietor, as I am unaware of his name or that of his driver. Thanking you in anticipation, A Woman.
