A wireless message received last night from Captain Todd, of the Union Company's steamer Navua, stated that the vessel will arrive at Auckland about 9 a.m. to-day from Suva direct. The Navua is bringing 40 salmon and steerage passengers, and a large quantity of fruif and copra for this port. APARIMA AT BLUFF. The Union Company's steamer Aparima arrived at the Bluff at noon on Saturday from Calcutta direct. The vessel brought a full cargo of Eastern merchandise, which she will discharge at the Blurt, Dunedin, Lyttelton. Wellington, and Auckland. She is due here about January 25. THE CANADA CAPE. The Union Company's chartered steamer Canada Cape loft Sydney on Friday last for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Auckland, with £, large quantity of general cargo, which had accumulated at the New South Wales port in consequence of the recant labour troubles. She is due at Wellington on Thursday, and at Auckland about January 24. THE SYDNEY SERVICE.

The local office of the Huddart-Parker Company advises that the steamer Riverim, which arrived at Sydney at midnight on Friday last from Auckland, will be docked at the New Sout. Wales port this week for cleaning and painting. She will not leave Sydney for Auckland until noon on Thursday, one day later than usual, and is due to arrive here on Monday morning, January 19. The Fiverina will sail the following afternoon for Eaßt Coast and Southern ports as usual.

WAIHORA AT SINGAPORE. The Union Company's cargo steamer Waihora arrived at Singapore on, January 6 to load for New Zealand porta The vessel leaves Singapore early this week for Dunedin, where she is due about the end of January.

MOCRA FOR THE ISLANDS. The Union Company's steamer ?<foura, which was commissioned for the South Sea L.land service, owing to the withdrawal ot the Al.ua i n;i Tofua from the Auckland connection,, sailed shortly before 2 p.m. on Saturday fur Tonga, Samoa, and Fiji, with a full general cargo. The vessel will return to Auckland from Suva direct, and is due here about January 30. The Navua will lie the next steamer to visit the Islands being timed to leave here on Wednesday, January 21, for Fiji direct, proceeding thence to Samoa, Tonga, and back to Auckland. COAL FROM SOUTH AFRICA. An unexpected arrival at Auckland on Saturday morning was the Glasgow-owned Hteamer Kilbride, which came from Delagoa Bay (South Africa) with .i ci.rgo of 5000 tons of coal for the New Zealand Government. Cable advice received by the Union Company states that the K M S. Marama. which left Vancouver on December 21 for Auckland and Sydney, via way ports, was expected to arrive at Suva yesterday. The liner is running two days later than schedule time, and is to leavo Suva at 7 a m. to-day for Auckland. She should arrive here about noon on Thursday, and will sail for Sydney direct several hours later.

MAHENO FROM SYDNEY. A late arrival at Auckland last night was the Union Company's turbine steamer Maheno, from Sydney direct, the vessel berthing at the Hobson Wharf at 10 o'clock, where she was medically inspected by the port health officer, and pratique granted an hour later. The purser reports that departure was taken from the New South Wales port at 6.20 p m. on Wednesday last, light variable winds and smooth seas being experienced throughout the passage. Although she was docked at Sydney last week the voyage was no-t accomplished in good time, the distance between the two ports occupying four days 1} hours actual 'steaming time. The Maheno is timed to sail at 10 p.m. to-day for Sydney direct.
