WEST COAST CELEBRATIONS.

[nv TELEGRAPH.—I-RESS ASSOCIATION.] llokitixa, Friday The jubilee celebrations were continued today. Tha weather throughout the festivities has been gloriously fine, enabling the pioneers to visit their former favourite haunt*, and to-day they were taken in conveyance* to the various mining localities. In the afternoon the pioneers were entertained nt a garden party.

1 lie Vice-Regal party visited Ross and was entertained at luncheon by the Borough Council there. An address of welcome was presented to His Excellency, and afterwards a visit of inspection was made to the Mont d'Or Hold Mining and Sluicing Company's i laim, where the party witnessed the washing-up process. His Excellency was presented with an ounce of 'gold from the return. The Vice-Regal party will have to-morrow for Greymoutb. The pioneer* will be entertained at Ross tomorrow and (he celebrations will conclude with a fireworks display to-morrow night.
