MOCK JURY TRIAL.
Times-Sydney Sun Special Cable. ■ (Received January 9, 6.20 p.m.) London, January 9. A mock trial took place at Covent Garden Theatre last night of John Jasper, charged with the murder of Edwin Drood- Mr. G. B. Shaw, Mr. G. K. Chesterton, Mr. Pett Ridge, Mr. C. Kernahan, Mr. Tom Gallon, Mr. Max Pemberton, and Mr. W. Jacobs took part. The jury found Jasper guilty of manslaughter after mirthful proceedings.
