THE POINT CHEVALIER DEPOT.
Sir,—Re the sanitary depot at Point Chevalier, the district health officer says the depot cannot do any harm, but I think that Point Chevalior has enough drawbacks in the Mental and Isolation Hospitals without being the dumping ground for the more advanced, though less beautiful districts. Perhaps they want to drive the people from the Point to their districts, ami I think that they will succeed with the tenant class unless landlords reduce the rent considerably. I understand that the Point w|s not consulted about the business, but they have been insulted instead. Passbr-by.
