FOUND BY THE ROADSIDE

DEATH DUE TO NATURAL CAUSES. [BY telegraph.— correspondent.] Whangarei, Thursday. An inquest was held to-day by the district coroner into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man named James Dunn, who was found dead on the roadside at Titoki on Tuesday. Evidence of identification was given by a bush cook, named John Jacobson, who said that the deceased arrived in the district on New Year's Day from Auckland, to take up employment witness had secured for him. Dr. Hall deposed that death was due to natural causes, and a verdict in accordance with the medical testimony was returned.
