The Auckland Motor-cycle Club has endeavoured, by supplying each competitor with a distinctive coloured jersey and number, and by eliminating in most of the events any large starts, and also by making the finishing point in closer view of the grand stand, to make the races more of a success from a spectacular point of view. As some crack riders from Southern towns are t contesting the events the local racing men will be forced to put their utmost efforts to secure the supremacy, and some close and exciting finishes can be predicted.
