The Federated Union is agrees ing to the terms of the New South Wales award applying to the whole of Australia and Tasmania. Wages have bean fixed by this at 60s a week, and the men will be paid for matinee performances. Several Melbourne proprietors have con-* ceded the demand for the payment of 10a for every performance, including matinees.
