Mr. Booth was disposed to help the bowling club but the shortness of funds stood in the way. It was eventually resolved to provide a yearly sum of £25 for four years. That offer will be made to the club. The tennis club wrote asking the board to provide a water-roller for the courts, and offered to contribute £5 per annum until the cent of it had been refunded, the roller then to become the property of the club. It further asked to have the assistance of one of the board's men to keep the courts in order, the club paying the wages for the labcar. It was decided to pay half the cost of the roller, provided it becomes the property of the board, and that the tennis club be allowed to remove the old pavilion, at its own expense, provided the new one is erected. The club may also have the assistance of one of the men, when not required by the board, by making arrangements with him.
