Times-Sydney Sun Special Cable. (Received December 31, 6.5 p.m.) London, December 31. Among the American entries for the British amateur golf championship are Mr. Jerome Travers, the exUnited States champion, Mr. Herreshoff, who was runner-up to Mr. Harold Hilton, when the Englishman won the American title a year ago, and Mr. F. Ouimet, the boy who defeated Vardon and Ray so sensationally in the last round of the American championship this year.
