The auxiliary schooner Pono, which was recently built at Auckland for the OnehungaWaiuku cargo trade, arrived at the West Coast port on Saturday morning. Tho Rarawa arrived at Onehunga at 11 a.m. on Saturday from New Plymouth with a. large' contingent of passengers. She sails again for the Taranaki port at 3 p.m. to-day. The Anchor Lino's steamer Waimca arrived at Onehunga on Saturday morning from Terekohe, with 500 sheep and 230 tons of general cargo and cement. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company's liner Tainui is expected to arrive at Wellington this evening from London, via wayports.' Commencing from to-day. the. Northern Company's Steamer Manaia will inaugurate her thrice a week trips to Whangarei, leaving hero every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday .evening at 10 p.m.. and returning every luesdsy, Thursday, and Saturday evening,

There will bo no steamer from Auckland to Pacroa on Wednesday and Thursday. The Waimarie will sail for the rivor port at midnight on Friday. Mr R. Woods, of the Harbour Board's signalling staff, is relieving signalman at Tiritiri Island, in place of Mr. G. Wolfe, who is on holiday leave. The Ty6er liner Muritai was due at Wellington yesterday from Napier. The vessel will complete her Homeward loading at Wellington, and is to sail about the middle of this wcok for London, via Las Palmas. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Ruapehu left London on Thursday 'a«t for Wel'ington and Lyttelton, via Teneriffc, Capetown, and Hobart. The vessel is due at Wellington on February J. The Waihora is to leave Singapore early in January with a. cargo of tea and other merchandise for New Zealand ports. The Shaw. Savill. and Albion liner Corinthic is timed to leave Wellington at 3 p.m. to-morrow for London, via Monte Video, Teneriffe, and Plymouth. The Now Zealand Shipping Company's liner Ruahino is expected to complete the discharge of her London cargo at Lyttelton in time to leave the Canterbury port for Auckland towards the end of the week. She should arrive here about Sunday next, and will load a largo quantity of butter, wool, flax, and other cargo for London. It is expected that most of the passenger and cargo steamers which have been laid up at Auckland for the past few weeks on account of tho recent labour troubles will bo recommissioned during tho next tew days. The Ngapuhi. which sails for Tauranga this evening, will return as usual on Wednesday morning. There will be no steamer for lauranga from Auckland on December 25 and January 1. The Northern Company advises that the Waiotahi will sail for tho Groat Barrier at. 9 a.m. on Wednesday, instead of tho usual time at midnight. THE WAIRUNA. The Union Company's cargo steamer Wairuna loft Wellington on Saturday evening for Auckland direct The vessel is due hero to-night, and has 714 bunches and 7400 cases of bananas and a part cargo of raw sugar to discharge. ARGENFELS LEAVES NEW YORK. Advice has been received that the Hansa steamer Argenfeis left New York on Decern ber 12 for Melbourne, Sydney and the four New Zealand main ports. The vessel is bringing the usual cargo of American merchandise, and is due hero about February 15. INDRALEMA LEAVES LONDON. Cable advice received states that the Tyser Lino's steamer Indralema was despatched from London on December 11 for Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Napier, and Wellington. The vessel is due at Auckland about February 1. APARIMA LEAVES CALCUTTA. The Union Company's steamer Aparima. left Calcutta on December 13 for the Bluff direct. She is bringing the usual linos of Eastern merchandise, and will subsequently visit Lyttelton, Timaru, Dunediu, Wellington, and Auckland in that order, to discharge. She is due at the Bluff about January 15. KATOA AND WAITOMO. An alteration has been made in the running of the steamers Katoa and Waitomo, which are at present discharging cargo at Auckland from Southern ports. The Waitomo was originally fixed to load general cargo at this port to-day for Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunodin, but this arrangement has now been cancelled, and the Katoa will load this week for the ports named instead. On completion of discharge the Waitomo will proceed to Newcastle to load coal for New Zealand. MANUKA FOR SYDNEY. Tho Union Company's liner Manuka, which arrived in tho stream at Auckland at 2 a.m. on Saturday, from Sydney direct, berthed at the Queen's Wharf nt 6 a.m. to disombark mails, 320 passengers, and discharge 300 tons of general cargo. The vessel cleared the New South Wales port at 3 pm. on Monday last, and encountered southerly winds and heavy beam seas for the first two days, and then fine weather and smooth seas. She was manned by an amateur crew, and completed tho passage from Sort to. port in the creditable time of four days nine and a-half hours. The Manuka loaded a large quantity of cargo here for Sydney, and sailed for the New South Wales port late on Saturday night, having on board about 130 saloon and steerage passengers. She is due at Sydney on Wednesday, and will then take up her usual running in theSydney-Wellington-Blufl-Hobart-Melbourne service. NGATIAWA AT OPOTIKI. T The Northern S.S. Company's steamer Ngatiawa, which has been detained at Opotiki bar for over a week owing to the low tides, has been refloated, and has returned to Opotiki to discharge her cargo. She will probably arrive back at Auckland late tonight or early to-morrow morning. HURUNUI DUE- ON WEDNESDAY. The Federal-Shire Line's chartered steamer Hurunui left Sydney on Saturday for Auckland, in continuation of her voyage from Liverpool. She is due here on Wednesday, and after discharging 2900 tons of cargo, proceeds to Wellington. Lyttelton, and Dunedm to put out the balance.

MOVEMENTS OF STEAMERS. As a settlement has been reached in the seamen's strike, tho whole of the coastal, intercolonial, and Island passenger services will be resumed immediately. The Union Company and Huddart-Parker Company announce the following arrangements in connection, with its various services:—The Tofua will leave Sydney on December 30 for uuva, Apia. Vavau, and Nukualofa. Instead of proceeding to Auckland as formerly, she will return to Suva and then Sydney. The Atua, which is due at Sydney to-day from Auckland and South Sea Island ports, will leave Sydney on December 31 for Fiji. This vessel .will not come on to other Island ports and Auckland, but will return to Melbourne and Sydney with fruit. In all probability the' above itinerary will observed by the Tofua and Atua in future .* The service from Auckland to South Sea Island ports will be maintained by the Navua, which will probably be despatched from this port about December 31 for Nukualofa, Vavau, Haapai, Apia, Levuka, and Suva, returning thence to Auckland. The intercolonial service .between Sydney and Auckland will bo maintained by the Mahono. Riverina, and Victoria as formerly. The Mahono will leave Sydney on Wednesday, ' arriving here on Sunday next, and sailing on the return trip at 5.30 p.m. on Monday, December 29. The Manuka, which is due at Sydney on Wednesday from Auckland, will leave ,the New South Wales port on Saturday next for Wellington in the Cook Strait-Bluff-Hobart-Melboumo service. Tho Huddart-Parker Company's steamer Riverina is to leave Sydney on Wednesday for Wellington direct, whoro she is due on Sunday next. From Wellington she will come to Auckland, via way ports, and will leave here for Sydney direct at 5 30 p m. on Monday, January 5. The Victoria, which is due at Sydney to-morrow from Wellington, will leavo the New South Wales port on Wednesday. December 31, for Auckland direct, arriving here on the following Sunday, and sailing on Tuesday, January 6. for the usual East Coast and Southern ports. The other vessels to be engaged in the Sydney-Cook Strail-Bluff-Hobart-Melbourne service will be the Maunianui. Ulimaroa, Willochra. and Mooraki The former vessel left Sydney on Saturday evening for Wellington direct, where she is due on Wednesday morning. There will bo no sailing in tho moantime from Melbourne for New Zealand on January 7.. The Dunedin-East Coast-Auckland service will be inaugurated by the Warrimoo, which leaves Dunedin on Saturday next for Lytfolton, Wellington. , Napier. Gisborne. and Auckland. She will arrive hero on Friday, January 2. and sail on the return trip the following day. The Monowai. which has been laid up hero since the commencement of Ihe reconl strike, will leavo Auckland on Tuesday afternoon. December 30, for East Coast and Southern ports, in her usual running The Weetralia will be roeommissioned at Auckland this week, and is to nail on Saturday afternoon next for East Coast and Southern ports, thus taking up her usual running in that service. A wireless message received by tho Auck land radio station last night from Captain Phi'lins, of the mail ({earner Makura. stated that the vessel will arrive at Auckland about 6 pm to-day from Sydney.
