Strong westerly and northerly winds have prevailed, and the weather has continued unsettled, with rain generally. Very foggy conditions have been experienced along the coast of the South Island to-day. TO-DAY'S FORECAST. Present indications arc for strong and squally westerly winds, changing to southerly everywhere shortly, with a rising barometer. Unsettled weather is probable, and conditions are likely to be boisterous in many parts, with heavy passing showers.
