INTERESTING NEW SERIAL.
"A PRIOR CLAIM." Publication is commenced in tho columns of the New Zealand Herald to-day of an interesting new serial story entitled "A Prior Claim." "A Prior Claim" is from the pen of Edgar Pickering, author of "The Vanishing of Cornelius Druce," "Righted at Last," " Janet Deeds." " Nada," "At the Eleventh Hour," etc. Since he first sprang into prominence as a literary prizewinner, Edgar Pickering has been deservedly popular, and has gained tho highest praise attainable by a serial writera constant demand for more. In "A Prior Claim" the author has written a vividly interesting tale, with Mexico, that land of passion and hidden wealth, as a background. Lovers of serial fiction will find much of absorbing interest in "A Prior Claim."
