CAMBRIDGE COMPETITIONS. [BT TELEGRAPH".— CORRESPONDENT.] Cambridge, Friday. Shooting competitions in connection with No. 4 Group (Waikato), commenced here yesterday, the number of competitors exceeding 100. Captain King was in command, and was assisted by Captains Wallingford and Garland, and Lieutenant Coleman. The weather was not favourable, but nevertheless some good marksmanship was shown. The leading sceroa aro:— Sonior Cadets' Match, 250 yds: L. Webber (78th company), 99; A. Decock (77th company), 91; A. E. Hayes (72nd company), 93; H. Mooro (81st company), 92; D. Davy (72nd company). 91; G. B. Hall (72nd company), 88: R. Heamington (75th company), 88. Senior Cadets' Match, 200 yds: The scores in this match are incomplete, the leading marksmen being L. Webber, T. Parker, Sergeant Boucher, F. Chambers, Penney, and E. Greenslade. ■»•■.,, Senior Cadets' Company Duel Match, lOO.vds. This match was fired in heats, target's being four iron falling plates. Cambridge No. 2 team was first, and Cambridge No. 1 second, with Hamilton High School The meeting is still in progress, and will continue over to-morrow.
