"PEOPLE'S DAY." INTERESTING PROGRAMME. The programme for People's Day is the most attractive of the series provided for show days, and will include events of a varied character.. The day's proceedings will commence at 10 o'clock with driving competitions, and will. be followed by gjrl and boy riding events. At 11.30 the championships of the hack, hunter, pony, and harness horse classes will be decided. The cattle parade is timed to start at 12.15 p.m. and the grand parade at a quarter past one o'clock. Several interesting riding events follow, after which the championship for lady riders will be decided. The day's programme will conclude with a series of exciting leaping and military ovents, the latter including the Victoria Cross competition.
