MOULDY RABBITS.
London, December 5. Between 10 and 15 per cent, of the last consignment of rabbits that arrived at Liverpool by the steamer Kent were found to be mouldy, and it is also alleged that 50 per cent, of the carcases were wrongly graded, being classed as first and second large, whereas they were sour old bucks and does. The whole shipment was badly graced. Another consignment by the steamer Persic arrived in a mouldy condition. This state of affairs may have been caused by the variable temperatures, but fault possibly lies in Sydney.
