WEATHER REPORT.
The mercury has" shown an increased atmospheric pressure, and a temporary improvement in general weather conditions, though considerable rain has fallen on the West Coast and southern districts. Strong and squally westerly winds have prevailed. TODAY'S FORECAST. Present indications are for high westerly winds, with squally and cloudy weather generally. Rain is probable in all parts of tho country in the next two or three days, heavy oil the West Coast and southern districts, with rivers flooded. A further fall in tho barometer is probnblo everywhere.
