STREET IMPROVEMENTS.

WORK IN MANUKAU ROAD. : ; _ The estimate of the city engineer (lir, W. E. Bush) of. the cost of the work of forming the Pamell Rise to a grade, of 1 in 40 and forming Selwyn Terrace Is £3000. This sum includes the coMnc- •: tion of retaining walls.
