DEATH OF CENTENARIAN.
Mr. Oliver Smith died at Georgetown, near Oamaru, last week, at the age ot. : 102 years. He was born in the Shetland j..' Islands, and had been in New Zealand for;-, ; - 37 years. He never had an illness sufficient J to make him stop work for a day, and i" 3 '■. '-ji faculties were unimpaired right up.to ine ' last.
