FAMILIES FOR AUSTRALIA. . FEARS OF BAD TIMES. ADVICE FROM PREMIER. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received August 11, 9.30 p.m.), Johannesburg, August 10. Hundreds of men, accompanied by their families, are leaving for Australia, Canada arid Great Britain, fearing that bad times are coming. General Botha (Premier of the Uiion of South Africa) had a great reception last night at a party banquet in Johannesburg. He declared that South Africa w r as still inhabited by a young nation. " Mob law cannot be allowed. If capital is frightened away, it will go badly with the labourers and the general community alike. " Unless better relations are established between employer and employee, there is no chance of avoiding a recurrence of the recent trouble." The Premier indicated that the membership of the Cabinet would be increased to enable the people to keep in closer touch with the Ministers.
