AIRSHIPS FOR BRITAIN.
NEW INDUSTRY AT BARROW. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Received August 7, 11.25 p.m.) London, August 7. The Government has ordered five airships from Messrs. Vickers, Sons, and Maxim, of Barrow, who are laying out several acres at Barrow for aircraft construction. This is interpreted to mean that the firm have been guaranteed extensive orders. *
