BODY FOUND IN DRAIN.
ELDERLY MAN'S DEATH. " [by TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] , Palmerston North, Wednesday. The body of a. man, Thomas Pickan, aged 75, was found in a drain, in Kairanga district, seven miles from the town, to-day. Deceased left his home in Palmerston last evening, to go to the pictures, but seems to. have wandered away to the place where the body was found.
