BUSINESS DONE YESTERDAY. Business on the Stock Exchange was not quite so brisk yesterday. Waihi shares again dropped in value, sales being registered at from 37s 6d to 36s 3d, late sellers quoting 36s 6d, While buyers offered 36s 3d. Waihi Grand Junctions were also a shade easier, sales being. recorded at from 17s 6d to 17s 9d. 1 There were buyers of Talismans at 395, and sellers at 39s 6d. , In investment stocks, Bank of New ZeaI lands were easier, the ■ shares being on offer at £11 6s, with no buyers declaring. j National Banks (old) were inquired for at £5 2s 6d, but sellers did not quote. Buyers of new issue shares offered £4 19s 6d, while sellers held for £5 Is. New Zealand Insurances were sold at £5 4s, and more were obtainable at £5 ss, but late buyers did riot advance beyond £5 3s 6d.
