THREE HUNDRED INJURED.
PANIC-STRICKEN JEWS. (Received May 20, 1.30 a.m.) Vienna, May 19. Over 100 dwellings were destroyed in the fire at Presburg. The fire involved a part of the old Jewish quarter. Panic-stricken Jews refused to break the Sabbath by attempting to extinguish the fire until the Rabbi had granted them dispensation. Three hundred persons were injured.
