BLASTING OPERATIONS.
This blasting carried out by the City ' Council within the borough of Mount Eden has apparently caused annoyance to a good many of the residents of the borough. The Borough Council received a petition last night, signed by 25 ratepayers, asking that the nuisance should be abated. It was decided to send the City Council a copy of the petition, and to ask it to show cause why it* license to carry oh blasting operations should not be revoked.
