SOCIAL TO THE REV. J. COCKER
The Alexandra Street Primitive Methodist Church gave a farewell nodal to the Rev. J. Cocker last night. Mr. Gladding presided. On behalf ol the Sunday-school, Mr. D. Ooldie presented Mr Cocker with a very handsome net, and spoke very highly of Mr. Cocker's work in the Sundayschool. Mr. ,o&cker suitably replied. Mr Gladding then presented Mr. and Mrs. Cocker with a very handsome tea service, suitably inscribed. The Misses N. and L. Cocker were also presented, by Mr. A. Simpson,- with some Japanese work-boxes. The Be v.. Cocker replied, and referred to his church .work during the past four years. A presentation was also made to Mrs. Greenberry (nee Miss Ruby Hicks) by Mr. Moon, on - behalf of t.he Sunday-school, and Mrs. Gladding presented an electroplated tea set to Mrs. Greenberry on behalf of the choir.
