The result of the tournament w«l declared, and prizes presented. Mr. P. C. Gray (vice-president) and several other speakers commented on the excellent handicapping, some stating they had Jinever known or heard of any so good. fs'Mr. Botting (Dunedin) won first prize, £15; Mr. Young (Rakaia), second, £7; p* Messrs.
