CANADIAN BUYS 50,000 ACRES. By Telegraph.—Press Association.—Obpyright London, March 12. The Duke of Sutherland has sold to Mr. J. Stewart, a Canadian, 50,000 ' acres of land in Sutherland County. ' The Duke is buying land in Canada. The landed estates of the Duke of Sutherland, who .is 61 years of age, total about 1,358,000 acres. He recently sold Stafford House (a famous • London mansion) ito Sir W. H. Lever, by whom is has' been presentcd to the nation. It will be possibly used as a residence for the Prince of Wales.. ____
