ST. PATRICK'S DAY.
The - celebrations in connection with St. Patrick's Day are this year going to eclipse those of previous years. During the day a grand athletic programme, will be held in the Domain, and a very special feature will be the individual displays by the children of the Roman Catholic schools, concluding with a massed performance of 2000 children forming the Maltese cross. In the evening, at the Town Hall, a grand Irish night will be held. Some of the very Best talent available has been engaged, and some beautiful films depicting Irish "places and people have been specially Imported from Melbourne. There will be an item from the genuine Irish pipes. In addition to the above there will be numerous other attractions., At Ngaruawahia there will be the usual regatta, which is certain to SltracT a big crowd. Sporting members of the community will have the Otahuhu Trotting Club's meeting at Alexandra Park to engage their attention. A cricket match, Junior Reps. V. Church Reps., will be played at Victoria Park. Besides these attractions the various Beauty- of lEe harbour will no doubt attract many holiday-makers.
