The campaign which is' being carried out by the Girls' Friendly Society to provide further accommodation, for which £8000 is required, is being liberally. responded to, and last night it was announced that a total of £2299 6s had been received. Following are further amounts received: — Lyric, £1 Is; Mrs. W. Growther, £3 3s; W.J.C., £3 3s; Mr. Lester, £1; Mrs. J. L. Young, £1 Mr. Glaister, 10s; Mr. Swinnock, 10s; Hughes and Cosaar, 10s; Mr. Pountney, £5; Paterson and Robertson, £2 2s; J. C. Spedding, £2 2s; Mr. A. B. Wright, £1 Is; Mr. W. Boucher, 10s; Miss Lark-ins, 10s; small sums, £2 15s; total, £2299 6s.
