NORTHCOTE WATER CHARGES
At last night's meeting of the Northcote - Borough Council, Mr. Jas. T. Fearnley. in ] accordance with notice of motion, moved I that the following charges be'made for i water for the year, January 1, 1913, to ] December 31, 1913, payable half-yearly Ordinary supply* 2£ per cent, on the an- i nual value, with a minimum charge of ss, ; and non-coiisumers half these rates; meter - supplies, Is per thousand gallons, with a , minimum of £2 per • annum; and hose i licenses 10s per annum. <►< Mr. A. E. Greenslade seconded the motion. < Mr. W. T. Daniel . moved an amend- , ment, and Mr. J. ,B. Tonar seconded:— , "That the council do not send any water consumers' accounts out until' the new ] council takes office." The amendment was carried, only Messrs. Fearnley "and Greenslade supporting the motion.
