The- , late ; Marquis of Sligo, who was' nearly 82 years of age, served in the Bengal Civil Service from 1851 to 1886. He owned about 114,900 acres of land in Ireland. ' ■ ■'■ _______'"■: A WELL-KNOWN CRICKETER. Capetown, February 24. The death has occurred of Sinclair, the cricketer. Sinclair was a well-known South African cricketer. He has played in representative matches against both England and Australia.
