Sib. Sakttel McOatohby, of New South Wales, -who has been touring the pommion, was a passenger for Sydney by the Maheno last night.
Captain Henderson, of the Australian Coastal Steamship- Company, who lias been visiting Auckland after an absence of several years, left for Sydney by the Maheno last night.
The Rev. S. Churchwood. of Apia (Samoa) who arrived in Auckland by the Atuaon Sunday, was a passenger for Svciney bv the Maheno last night. He is accompanied by Mrs. Churchwood.
The Hon. W. Fraser arrived m Gore from Invercargill Yesterday morning, and visited his constituents at Wendonside and Wa-'kaia. receiving deputations _ upon various local matters.— Association.)
The Rev. 11. Darwin Burton, vicar of St Michael's Church, Christchurch, will arrive in Auckland on Wednesday to con-duct-services in connection with the mission to men being held in Auckland at present.
Messrs. H. Kevs (Christchurch Press), ,1. Pe.tnc (Greymonth Star), N. Mcßobie (Waihi DailY Telegraph), and R. J. Gwynne (Waikato * Argus), arrived in Auckland yesterday to attend the annual meeting of the Newspaper Proprietors' Association.
Mr. 11. H. G. Ralfe, chief clerk of the Magistrate's Court, who has been _ appointed assistant-resident commissioner and registrar of the Cook Islands, loaves Auckland for Wellington to-night. He will leave Wellington for Li's new home by the Moana on Friday.
